When withdrawal does not apply
Under Article 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for bespoke or clearly personalised goods. On MakeBold this includes creations generated from the customer’s instructions and artwork the customer edits before purchase. The exclusion is disclosed before payment.
Purchases without individual personalisation
Production after the order or choosing standard options is not always enough to exclude withdrawal. If you buy a gallery design as shown, without generating or editing it for you, and no other legal exception applies, you may notify withdrawal within 14 days after delivery. Follow our return instructions; direct return costs are yours unless the law requires otherwise.
Legal guarantee of conformity
Consumers retain the legal guarantee under the Consumer Code, normally 2 years after delivery. A wrong, damaged or substantially different item may be non-conforming.
- Repair or replacement without cost are the primary remedies when possible and proportionate.
- Where the law provides, you may receive a price reduction or terminate the contract for a refund.
- Normal production tolerances do not cover substantial differences from the order.
What is not a defect
- A change of mind about correctly produced text, colour, style or product.
- A standard size chosen incorrectly where the product and table were correct.
- A spelling error in exact text approved by the customer, unless introduced by MakeBold.
Report a problem
Email cirosorrentino@casellapec.com with order number, issue and requested remedy. Attach useful photos. Do not return the item without instructions, as the address may depend on the production partner.
Model withdrawal form
Use this only where withdrawal applies: “To Golden Frankie Studios di Ciro Sorrentino, Via Castellammare 22, 80054 Gragnano (NA), Italia, cirosorrentino@casellapec.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: [goods]. Ordered on [date], received on [date]. Consumer name and address: [details]. Date: [date].”
You may send it by email with any unequivocal statement. We will confirm the return address and instructions.
